About FazTest
Who We Are
FazTest is run by a small editorial team of writers, developers, and operators who use AI tools in our own client work every week. We started this site after realizing that most AI tool reviews online read like marketing copy — long on hype, short on the practical details that determine whether a tool actually saves time or wastes money.
Every article on FazTest is written by someone who has used the tools we cover. Articles are published under the FazTest Editorial Team byline, and where you read "I" in a review, that's the team member who personally ran the tests speaking directly — their testing notes, their prompts, their verdict. We don't cover tools we've only read about. If a review doesn't exist for a tool yet, it's because we haven't tested it enough to have a real opinion.
What We Do
We publish hands-on reviews of AI writing tools, productivity software, image and video generators, chatbots, and AI assistants — focused on the workflows of freelancers, content creators, and small business owners. We also publish head-to-head comparisons and how-to guides for using AI in real work, not toy prompts.
Our Testing Methodology
Every tool covered on FazTest goes through the same evaluation process before we publish a verdict:
- Real-world use, not demo use — we run the tool through actual client work (blog posts, proposals, transcripts, design assets) for at least two weeks before reviewing
- Identical prompts across tools — when comparing tools in a category, we feed the same prompts to each so the comparison is fair
- Editorial-effort scoring — we measure how much rewriting the AI output needs before it ships, not whether the tool can produce any output at all
- Current pricing — pricing, free-tier limits, and model availability change constantly. We revisit each review at least quarterly and update the article when pricing or features shift materially
- Honest trade-offs — every review names the strengths and the gaps. Tools we like still get caveats where they exist

Chatbots for customer service, AI tools for small business owners, and the integration guides that make adoption practical
